Who should attend the Long-Term Care Business Fundamentals program?
This program is designed for pharmacists who wish to begin offering senior care pharmacy services or expand their current services to the growing number of long-term care facilities. With the definition of long-term care expanding, this program examines the growing opportunities available with adult day care centers, assisted living facilities, group homes, continuing care retirement communities, hospice, as well as traditional nursing homes and skilled nursing facilities. The program goes beyond the basics to focus on proven business strategies designed to teach pharmacists how to efficiently and profitably provide long-term care services in these varied settings.
Where will the Richmond programs be held?
Classes will be held at LTCPCMS, a progressive LTC pharmacy located just 5 minutes from the hotel. LTCPCMS has a classroom onsite, and participants will be able to tour the facility and receive hands-on demonstrations during the course of the program. Shuttle service to and from the hotel will be provided at no additional charge.
How should I dress for the program?
Business casual dress is appropriate.
What is the refund policy?
Cancellation is subject to a $50 cancellation fee. The cancellation deadline is 7 days prior to the start of the program.
How many CE hours are provided during the LTC Business Fundamentals program?
The LTC Business Fundamentals program will provide each participant 14.75 contact hours of continuing pharmacy education (1.475 CEUs).
What is the class size?
Class size is limited to the first 30 paid participants.
What does the registration fee include?
Tuition, three meals, CE processing, shuttle services between the hotel and program venue, and program materials.
